Brighton & Hove City Council require multi-skilled workshop mechanics to work in their new purpose built workshop. The new, larger workshop has allowed us to offer experienced commercial vehicle fitters/mechanics to join us to work on our Council vehicles, in addition to other customer’s vehicles and plant.
This position comes with a £4,000 market supplement.
Main advert detail
The ideal candidate will have experience in most aspects of vehicle and plant repair, with the ability communicate with customers. Their work should be reliable and the records should be accurate. You are required to carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs and have a flexible approach in this expanding service. We are keen that training take place to ensure that staff are up to date with the latest advancements.
