What you’ll do…

Join us as a Forest Operations Works Supervisor and help shape the future of Yorkshire's forests. Based in our Cleveland Beat, you'll play a key role in delivering a diverse programme of forestry operations, working closely with contractors, operational teams and colleagues to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest professional standards.

At the heart of forestry delivery, you'll have the opportunity to make a real, tangible impact on the ground, influencing how forestry operations are planned and implemented while championing sustainable forest management.

Your leadership, expertise and experience of forestry or land management will help create healthier, more resilient forests that support biodiversity, climate resilience, public enjoyment and timber production, while turning Forestry England's ambitious objectives into reality.

Where you’ll work…

The post will initially be based at Forestry England’s Yorkshire Office in Pickering. It will move to the Dalby Forest Office in autumn/winter 2027. Regular travel around Forestry England’s estate in Yorkshire will be required. There will be occasional trips outside of Yorkshire for Forestry England-wide meetings, which may require an overnight stay.
