Parking Permit Schemes Administrator
We are recruiting for a Parking Permit Schemes Administrator to join our Parking & Mobility Services team.
If you are passionate about delivering efficient parking services, supporting residents and estate communities, and ensuring the fair allocation and management of parking spaces, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and process applications for estate parking permits, ensuring all applications are assessed accurately and issued in accordance with Council policies and eligibility criteria.
- Administer estate parking bay allocations, relocations and amendments, exercising discretion where required and communicating decisions clearly to residents and stakeholders.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to residents, councillors, colleagues and partner organisations on estate parking permits, bay management and related parking matters.
- Investigate complex cases, support fraud prevention activities, undertake permit audits and contribute to the ongoing improvement of estate parking management and permit administration processes.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience of administering parking permits, housing estate parking schemes, bay allocations or a similar customer-focused regulatory service.
- Experience of assessing applications, managing casework and resolving complex customer enquiries in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of parking permit policies, estate parking arrangements, fraud prevention practices and relevant legislation or regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues and stakeholders in a diverse community.
