About the Role
As an Employment Advisor, you will hold a caseload of customers seeking employment. Your role involves seeking potential employment opportunities for customers by working closely with the individual, employers, prime contractors, and statutory bodies. From initial in person meetings, you will review applicants' abilities, needs, and wishes regarding employment and respond accordingly, linking customers to employment, training, and development opportunities.

You will provide advice on achieving employment to customers, their circle of support, and other organisations, and signpost individuals to other sources of advice where appropriate. Identifying specific needs and risks, you will create and maintain risk assessments with the individual to ensure safety in the workplace. Where required, you will train and support customers in getting to a placement and provide on-the-job support.

Your responsibilities also include creating and maintaining records and processes in line with organisational and contract requirements, using both online databases and hard copy record systems. You will deliver job-related outcomes in line with individual and team performance targets and provide guidance to Employment Support Workers in the delivery of their duties.
About you
We are seeking passionate and dedicated candidates who are eager to make a positive impact. Whether you have experience working with people with disabilities or possess valuable transferable skills, we want to hear from you. Join us in our mission to support individuals in overcoming barriers and achieving their employment goals

Are you passionate about supporting people, enjoy being in the company of others, and can communicate confidently and effectively at all levels? If so, this may be the perfect role for you!
While the EA role is quite specialised, personality is key. If you have the ambition to succeed, the drive to see things through, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for our customers.

As an Employment Advisor, you will build strong professional relationships with a diverse range of customers stakeholders, employers, colleagues and educational institutions. This is a highly customer-facing role, requiring regular face-to-face meetings with customers, employers and partner organisations across Oxfordshire on a daily and weekly basis. Successful candidates must be able to travel throughout the county to deliver support and attend meetings in various locations. While there is flexibility to undertake administrative tasks from home or an office base, the primary focus of the role is the delivery of in-person employment support. We are looking for someone dynamic, with a can-do attitude, who is eager to make a positive impact.
Customers, we want to hear from you. Experience working with people with disabilities and or long-term health conditions in employment is ideal, but we also value transferable skills that could make you a great fit for this role.

If you are ready to be part of an organisation that values excellence, inclusivity, and making a difference, apply now to join Oxfordshire Employment
