Job Introduction

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in making this vision a reality. Reporting to the Head of Bus Reform Programme Delivery, you'll be at the heart of one of the UK's most significant transport transformation programmes, helping to deliver bus franchising and create a lasting legacy for the millions of people who live, work and travel across the West Midlands.

Please note, this is a 2 year FTC.

  • ensure programme outcomes are achieved within set budgets and timeframes
  • Lead on the production of project planning and reports
  • Proactively reviewing emerging activity in projects to identify areas for improvement, alignment or collaboration that better serves the programme

We cannot stop anyone from using AI to help write application content. Used right, it can be a great tool. If you choose to use AI, then use it as a helper rather than relying on it wholly to write your application.

Applications that rely too heavily on AI may be rejected during shortlisting. For help on how to write a supporting statement, please visit the FAQs section of our careers site.

    Reasonable adjustments.

If you have an accessibility need, disability, or condition that means you might require changes to the application or recruitment process, please get in touch with our Recruitment Team (careers@wmca.org.uk).
