We are committed to providing the highest level of support to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), working closely with educational settings to ensure their needs are met effectively.

About You

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about embedding innovative approaches to SEND support across our local area.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A proven track record of managing a busy team and leadership qualities, with the ability to think outside of the box and be solution focused.
  • A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Experience handling SEND Appeals, Tribunals, and formal Mediations.
  • Knowledge of recent developments in SEND case law and best practices.
  • A high standard of communication both orally and written.
