You will help arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, follow up on actions and maintain key project documentation including project plans, risk registers, issue logs and status reports.

You will also play an important role in maintaining project tracking tools, monitoring progress, risks, issues and dependencies, and ensuring information is shared clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, an interest in project management and a passion for supporting service improvement in a healthcare environment.

As a Transformation & Improvement Project Support Officer, you will:

  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues and dependencies, highlighting concerns where required
  • Support stakeholder communications and ensure key project updates are shared effectively
  • Maintain project tracking tools and project management systems, including MS Project where required
  • Support project budgeting and financial administration, including tracking project expenditure
  • Help monitor project resources, schedules and changing project requirements
  • Maintain project libraries, databases, documentation and resources
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders and multi-disciplinary colleagues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by helping to develop effective documentation and project systems

You’ll bring:

  • An interest in and understanding of project management
  • Experience working on projects in a supporting role
  • Strong administration skills, including accurate minute taking and action tracking
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A good standard of written English and confident communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using electronic systems
  • The ability to organise, record and retrieve information effectively
  • A proactive and flexible approach to changing project demands
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
