Join a community that cares about you!More about your roleYou will primarily carry out electrical work in domestic properties, with occasional tasks in commercial buildings. This includes upgrades, repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding, and emergency lighting. You should be familiar with domestic electrical installations and have a solid understanding of 3-phase systems. Adherence to the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, BS 7671, and related guidelines is essential. You'll perform periodic inspections, testing, and complete necessary certifications in line with IEE Wiring Regulations. Compliance with BS 7671 and EAWR 1989 is a must. If qualified, you'll conduct PAT testing for electrical equipment. You must ensure all work is done to a high standard, leaving properties clean and tidy. You will collaborate with schedulers, supervisors, and compliance teams and communicate with customers to meet operational targets and KPIs. Timely and accurate completion of paperwork and data transfer is required. As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
