Job description

As the Prison Digital Services Administrator, the job holder will support the successful management and ongoing support of Launchpad and digital services (laptops and associated accessories) and will work under the Digital and Communications Manager. This is a non-operational role with no line management responsibility but will require the job holder to oversee

  • Responsibility for asset management on site - allocating, retrieving and replacing devices and accessories.
  • Complete basic technical troubleshooting and escalate issues accordingly.
  • New Reception Induction (this will be carried out in YP rooms)
  • Supports adoption, support and training across all user groups on site, and future deployments.
  • Supports the Prison Digital & Communication Manager with producing and publishing local content.

Essential:

  • IT troubleshooting
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Experience in written, audio and video communications
  • Experience filming and editing audio and visual content

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a prison establishment
  • Experience working with Digital and Technology
  • Experience in content planning
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
