About the role…
As a Community &amp; Wellbeing Worker you will play a key role in delivering Rutland’s physical health and wellbeing offer. Duties include:

<li>Working closely with partners to reduce health inequalities, increase physical activity, and improve access to services across all communities.</li>
<li>Developing and delivering evidence-based physical activity and wellbeing programmes for children, young people, adults, and families—supporting both prevention and early intervention.</li>
<li>Coordinating and delivering a range of early and focused support through groupwork and 1:1 interventions, including physical activity-based sessions.</li>
<li>Supporting and promoting the physical health, mental health, and wellbeing offer available across Rutland.</li>
<li>Collaborating with volunteers, community groups and multi-agency partners to deliver impactful, innovative solutions focused on active lifestyles and improved wellbeing.</li>

As a Community and Wellbeing Worker, you will be required to work flexibly, when the community needs support. A full UK driving license is required to enable the post holder to travel around the county. Evening and weekend work may also be required.

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. Who are we?
Mapesbury School is a new Special Educational Needs school opening in Spring 2025 in Cricklewood, Brent. Our small school will support children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education. We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable&nbsp;Design and Technology Teacher and Coordinator&nbsp;to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop Design and Technology across the school, inspiring creativity and practical skills in our students.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Teach and coordinate Design and Technology for KS3 and Entry Level/Level 1 qualifications</li>
<li>Use and oversee the maintenance of tools and machinery associated with Design and Technology workshops safely and effectively.</li>
<li>Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with autism and communication difficulties.</li>
<li>Contribute to a flexible curriculum and, where needed, teach other subjects at KS3 or Entry Level.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>Qualified teacher with experience in Design and Technology.</li>
<li>Skilled in using workshop tools and machinery.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students who have additional needs.</li>
<li>Experience of working with children with ASC and/or social communication difficulties</li>
<li>Adaptable and creative, able to take on a variety of roles within a dynamic school setting.</li>
<li>Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.</li>
