What you’ll do…

The Communications & Engagement Manager is a new role for Forestry England’s Central District. The district Marcomms team is small, and a significant opportunity has been identified to enhance and expand communications activity.

Responsible for delivering the internal and external communications workplan for the district, you’ll help our audiences better understand our work, build our supporter base, and make sure our workforce remains informed, engaged and motivated to do their jobs effectively. By telling our story you’ll communicate not just what we do, but why we do it, highlighting the wide-ranging benefits the forests we care for provide for climate, nature, people and the economy.

Where you’ll work…

Hybrid working (working from home and/or hot desking in Forestry England Offices) with travel around the district and approximately one day a week in the Sherwood Office, NG21 9JL. The role with be Monday - Friday with occasional weekend working to support events.
