The Successful Applicant:
We are looking for a temporary CCTV Operator with the possibility of progressing to a permanent position, to work in the Sevenoaks District Councils CCTV Control Room. The individual must be suitably qualified and experienced. The role will involve monitoring and proactive patrol via view screens.&nbsp; The individual will be required to operate all the equipment, cameras, radios and to comply with relevant legislation, CCTV code of practice all operational control room procedures at all times, on a rotating 7 days a week shift pattern including, nights, weekends &amp; bank holidays including Christmas
The CCTV control room receives out-of hour's emergency calls. You will be responsible for ensuring these calls are dealt with effectively and implement the Council’s 24-hour emergency call out arrangements when required.
Applicants must be able to speak clear, concise and be able to understand and act fast and efficient in an emergency.
This is a key role in the Council’s overall Community Safety Strategy and if you feel you have the required abilities and experience, we would be delighted to hear from you.
