About the role
Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all of our services. Due to the demand, we’re looking for a bank of sessionals to help us &nbsp;continue to ensure patients get calls within service level agreements. And to provide timely and trusted information and support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This involves responding to safeguarding issues, collecting data, and delivering excellent information on the phone.
You’ll be responsible for making initial calls and follow up calls to primary and metastatic breast cancer patients. The calls are either appointment based or callback list based.
As a sessional, you’ll be working the hours agreed in advance by your sessional manager and as required each week. Your hours may vary from week to week and are not guaranteed. You’re not required to accept the hours of work offered to you. All or any hours agreed can be withdrawn at any time. Your hours may cover between Monday to Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-4 pm and and weekdays as well as evening work outside of normal office hours.
Any hours completed would need to be submitted on a monthly timesheet, authorised by the sessional manager. Payment will be made in arrears on the usual payday, for the hours completed in the previous month.

We’re looking for enthusiasm and people with strong communication skills (especially on the phone) and who’ve experience of working in a fast-paced and people-facing environment. The right candidates will provide quality phone calls and be willing to adapt and innovate. Sefton Council have a vacancy for a Coastal Steward Ranger post within Green Sefton’s Land Management Team.
Green Sefton provides Sefton’s communities with a clean, green Borough including beaches, nature reserves, countryside, municipal golf courses, parks, play areas and other greenspaces, which include specially protected sites and landscapes, benefitting the health and wellbeing of residents, visitors, investors, and nature.
Applicants will be expected to work safely at all times, undertaking wide ranging patrol, stewarding, security and habitat management functions, primarily at coastal and countryside locations during the summer (April – September), but will retain a boroughwide responsibility addressing issues across the suite of sites within the Green Sefton protfolio.
Acting as an ambassador for Green Sefton at all times, and focussing on the beaches during the summer, the work includes but is not limited to working outdoors, lifting and carrying, dealing with the public especially where behaviour changes are needed, permit checking, challenging antisocial behaviour, using tools and equipment and handling monies, conservation management work and habitat improvements, cleansing and general maintenance duties where appropriate across Green Sefton's portfolio. Close working partnerships with external agencies will be required; for example, with neighbouring landowners, Beach Lifeguards, and emergency services.
Applicants need to hold a full clean driving licence. Recording and reporting of daily tasks, site visits and incidents will be an important part of the duties.
The work base will normally be Ainsdale. Duties may vary in location and in accordance with business needs, e.g. working on different sites frequently. A uniform will be provided, which must be worn and presentable at all times.
Regular weekend and evening work is required as part of an established rota with other staff. Pro rata will mean working for 26 weekends out of 52 – 2/3 during the summer and 1/3 during the winter. Summer work (April – September) will be afternoon – evening periods. Annual leave is 28 days after the first month worked and this post is subject to the Council’s probation policy for 6 months from commencement of employment.
Previous experience of working in similar countryside management roles, working in enforcement settings and strong ambassadorial and verbal communication skills are highly desirable.
Working late pattern during summer, and 2/3 weekends in summer and 1/3 weekends in winter.
This is a permanent appointment.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon. The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. The Role

The role involves working as part of a wider team to provide high quality environmental maintenance services including amenity grass cutting, litter management, graffiti removal, leaf clearance, hard landscaping, dyke management, street furniture, playground installation, weed growth, and cultivating of the districts bedding areas.
You will be required to have a good knowledge and also experience in amenity horticulture and have a good technical knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques and practice as duties will include mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, weeding and litter picking within the Authority’s parks, open spaces and streets. It is essential to hold a level 2, or equivalent knowledge and experience in horticulture.
The work is physically demanding, involving bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying and it is essential that you are able to lift weights of up to 20kg.
You will be able to demonstrate flexibility and commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
A full current UK driving licence is required, and it will be essential for the post holder to tow a trailer. As a result you will be required to sign up to the authorised external DVLA driving licence validation organisation that we use to manage and monitor our employees driving licence data.

We’re seeking a proactive and collaborative individual to join our Transport &amp; Highways service as a Business Development Officer, playing a key role in driving continuous improvement and strengthening customer and performance management across the service.
In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and refine procedures, monitor service indicators, and ensure that customer enquiries and complaints are responded to promptly, professionally, and with a focus on resolution and learning. You’ll help ensure that every interaction with our service is an opportunity to improve outcomes and build trust with our communities.
You’ll be responsible for producing performance reports, analysing customer feedback, and identifying trends that inform service improvements. Your work will help ensure that service standards are met and exceeded, and that customer experiences are consistently positive and valued.
Building strong relationships with contractors, councils, and stakeholders is central to the role, as is contributing to the council’s wider customer strategy. We're looking for an experienced and proactive IT Team Leader to guide and develop our South Essex regional IT team across six schools in Hockley and the surrounding area. About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Infrastructure Team within the LCRCA and contribute to the delivery of a modern, integrated and publicly owned transport system for the Liverpool City Region.
Investment in the city regions transport network is at a record high, and we need great people to provide (build) and, maintain transport infrastructure in support of this ‘step change’. In this role you would lead a team overseeing the maintenance of the bus stops and shelters across the LCR and lead on investment programmes to improve the quality of that same infrastructure. The role (and any projects) will be predominantly highway and traffic related in nature with an emphasis on bus travel and chiefly focussed on supporting delivery of the Combined Authority Corporate Plan and agenda around reforming bus travel (franchising). The Authority is in the midst of retendering its advertising stops and shelter contact. Therefore, there is a unique opportunity to lead and develop the contract to ensure the region is maximizing the value from that relationship in order that it contributes positively to the regions modern integrated public transport system.

We are keen to hear from people with a background and experience in leading others to manage contracts and delivery of capital works in a highway’s context.
