Housing
Full time
£32,535 - £33,987 per year

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent service to residents? We’re looking for a proactive and driven Void Coordinator to join our Housing Repairs team, playing a crucial role in managing and tracking all Council void property inspections and repairs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the efficient turnaround of vacant properties and help ensure new tenants can move into high-quality homes as quickly as possible. Working closely with the Voids Team Leader and Clerk of Works, you’ll be at the heart of coordinating repair schedules, contractor activity, and post-inspection processes—helping to put our residents first.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating inspections, repairs, and scheduling for void Council properties.

  • Liaising with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of works.

  • Tracking repair progress, producing weekly reports, and analysing performance data.

  • Verifying contractor invoices against work orders and monitoring costs.

  • Attending weekly meetings with contractors and managing ongoing updates.

  • Facilitating property viewings, handling gas/electric meter issues, and applying for parking permits.

  • Managing site logistics for evictions, decants, and complex works.

  • Supporting service improvements and financial reporting through accurate data collection.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Experience coordinating contractor work or housing repair services is desirable.

  • Confidence in using IT systems to track, report, and manage repairs.

  • Ability to challenge discrepancies in invoices and support cost-effective service delivery.

  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.

What You’ll Gain:

  • The chance to make a real impact in our community by supporting high-quality housing services.

  • Cross-team collaboration and experience in housing, finance, procurement, and customer care.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • A supportive work environment where your ideas and improvements are valued.

If you’re ready to take ownership of a critical function and work with a dedicated team focused on quality and results, we want to hear from you.

Apply now and help us deliver excellent housing services that truly make a difference.
