The Repairs Supervisor provides operational leadership and first-line management of the Barbican Repairs Team across the Barbican Residential Estate.
The role is accountable for the effective day-to-day delivery of reactive and minor planned repairs, ensuring works are completed safely, within agreed service standards, and to the required quality threshold.
The post holder will take active ownership of operational performance, ensuring repairs are progressed efficiently and driven through to completion.
The Repairs Supervisor acts as the technical lead within the repairs service, providing diagnostic expertise, post-inspection oversight, and operational support to ensure repairs are delivered safely and to the required quality standard.
The Repairs Supervisor will be responsible for:
Direct line management, supervision and development of repairs operatives.
Daily operational control of reactive and minor planned repairs.
Active management of live WIP, ensuring jobs are progressed and completed within agreed SLAs.
Coordination and sequencing of complex work and multi-trade works to ensure end-to-end delivery.
First-line technical support and escalation for operatives.
Inspection and quality control of completed works, including addressing repeat defects or performance concerns.
