The Regulatory Services Partnership (RSP) hosted by Merton Council is one of the largest Environmental Health Services in London, with the Food and Safety Team responsible for overseeing more than 6,000 food businesses in Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth. The area covered is diverse in nature and includes a variety of high profile and interesting venues, such as Wimbledon Tennis, AFC Wimbledon, Twickenham Rugby, Battersea Power Station, New Covent Garden and Hampton Court Flower Show.
We have an exciting opportunity for talented and enthusiastic qualified professionals to join our team of dedicated Food and Health and Safety officers to deliver the food safety, health and safety and infectious disease function across the RSP boroughs.
As an authorised officer you will manage and deliver food hygiene and standards inspections of all premises type, including approved food premises. You will investigate complaints and accidents, using your knowledge, skills and experience, and applying the necessary behaviours.
You will mentor and supervise technical staff, sharing your knowledge and experience.

Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion.&nbsp;You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals

We’re hiring a Night Recovery Worker to join our Croydon team, a 24/7, 27 bed residential service providing support to people with forensic mental health needs, complex needs, and dual diagnosis. You’ll provide person centred support to help residents overcome challenges and achieve their goals through tailored support plans, activities and partnership working. The service offers psychologically informed housing and resettlement support as part of our wider forensic mental health step down services. You’ll play a vital role in residents’ rehabilitation and reintegration, ensuring the night service runs smoothly through welfare checks, resident support, administrative tasks, and clear handovers with day staff and managers.
Some key responsibilities include:&nbsp;

What is the Orchard?&nbsp;
The Orchard is Leighton Academy’s specialist 20place SEN Unit (Year 1–Year 6) for pupils whose primary needs are Cognition &amp; Learning and Speech, Language &amp; Communication, as&nbsp;identified&nbsp;on their EHCP. Children learn and play in a dedicated,&nbsp;sensory friendly&nbsp;area of the school and benefit from highly structured routines, visual supports, and a calm, happy environment designed for engagement and success.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Our provision includes two classrooms with&nbsp;small group&nbsp;learning areas, a sensory room/calming space, dedicated outside play, and its own toilets and separate changing area—all set up to promote communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, life&nbsp;skills&nbsp;and independence. We adapt mainstream curriculum plans, emphasise fine/gross motor development and social play, and deliver daily Sensory Circuit sessions. Behaviour &amp; Exclusions Co‑ordinator
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Behaviour &amp; Exclusions Co‑ordinator to play a key role in supporting schools, families and the Local Authority with matters relating to suspensions, permanent exclusions, pupil moves, managed moves and off‑site direction.
About the Role:
You will work alongside the Inclusion Strategy Manager to provide high‑quality advice, ensure compliance with statutory guidance, and maintain robust systems for tracking pupil movement and outcomes. You will build strong relationships with schools, academies, outreach teams and partner agencies, ensuring children and young people receive appropriate, timely and effective support.
This is a varied role involving case management, co-ordination of managed moves, data analysis, training support, and presenting information to decision‑making panels. No two days will be the same, and your work will directly contribute to positive inclusion outcomes across the borough.
About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be an organised, confident and compassionate professional with experience working with children, young people and families—ideally within a school, local authority or similar setting. You’ll have strong knowledge of exclusions, alternative provision, and related legislation, or the ability to learn this quickly.
You will possess excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, working effectively with headteachers, families, and a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable analysing data, managing complex information, and working to strict statutory deadlines. You’ll be able to problem‑solve, remain calm under pressure, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. A flexible approach, strong IT skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider inclusion team are essential.

Temporary for 12 months – extension subject to funding
We are seeking to appoint an individual that wishes to make a difference to the local environment within Nelson.
As an Environmental Warden, you will work to promote behaviour change by raising awareness of environmental issues through educational projects and involvement in community events linking to anti-littering or waste prevention.&nbsp; As post holder you will be required to work closely with elected Members and other agencies to deliver improvements in the area. You will be required to attend occasional evening or weekend events such as Town Council meetings and co-ordinate clean ups in areas which suffer from deprivation or misuse.&nbsp;&nbsp;
If required you will assist colleagues to enforce the relevant legislation relating to reports of fly-tipping; littering; abandoned vehicles; incorrect separation, presentation and removal of waste and waste containers, clearance of waste from private land and breaches of our current Public Space Protection Orders.
You must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people in writing, and face-to-face, sometimes in difficult situations.
You should have good organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative managing your workload in order to meet given deadlines.&nbsp; You should also be computer literate, and have good numeracy skills, along with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
As you will be required to travel around Nelson, a current, full driving licence is essential for this position.&nbsp;
Some early morning, late evening, bank holiday and weekend working may be required on occasions.
Pendle is in Lancashire’s scenic Pennines, close to the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, and Manchester.

Brent is a large borough with approximately 235,000 registered electors and 130 polling stations. In 2024 we delivered very successful London Mayoral and parliamentary general elections, with staff demonstrating high levels of commitment, strong technical skills and collaboration.

Welfare Assistant
Dorin Park School, Upton, Chester
Grade 3, SCP 2 - 4, (Hourly Rate £12.65-£13.05)
5 days per week, up to 30 hours per week (9.10 am – 3.40 pm)
Permanent Contract, Term time only
We are a successful and caring Special School looking for the right person to provide welfare assistance to our lovely students, ages 4 to 19.
This will include help with toileting for a range of needs and working with students who are developing continence as they progress in their personal independence skills. We value experience but full training will be given to applicants with the right attitude and can-do approach who want to move into this line of work with a fantastic group of students who are incredibly rewarding to work with. This is a very active role and it involves moving around the whole school, a fast-paced environment with a need to respond quickly, as well as being a physical role which requires safe lifting and moving of students.
Other responsibilities include:

<li>Prepare and administer minor medications</li>
<li>Assist students with daily, personal tasks</li>
<li>Be aware of students physical, social, emotional and medical care needs</li>
</ul>

17.5 hrs per week – term time only. 11.30 am - 3.00 pm Ronald Openshaw Nursery School is looking for a highly motivated practitioner to support teachers and pupils in the delivery of quality teaching and learning through play with children with SEND.
Key Tasks
● Work as part of the SEND team, under the direction of the SENDCo. ● Write observations on the children’s learning to support key persons. ● To assist pupils within the setting, individually or in small groups, to enable them to make progress&nbsp; towards their next learning steps. ● To ensure that health, safety and behaviour policies are maintained. ● Supervise and support pupils in the learning environment including more in depth support to meet individual needs, to promote independence, inclusion, acceptance and equality of access.
You will need
● Level 2 or 3 TA or Early Years Educator qualification is desirable, or experience in a similar role. ● Skilled at making and sustaining positive relationships with children. ● Experience of working closely with parents in successful home-school partnerships. ● A working knowledge of relevant and effective SEND interventions and how to support pupils with SEND. ● Able to stimulate children’s interest in learning through play. ● Capable of delivering small group activities and maintaining appropriate records. ● Knowledge and understanding of how children learn.
