Residential Children’s Homes Manager – Permanent, Full Time
We have an opportunity for a Residential Children’s Homes Manager to lead and manage our brand-new, multi-building children’s home(s) within the borough.
As the Residential Children’s Homes Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the residential homes, and the provision of a professional children and young people centred service, in line with the relevant regulations, legislation, codes of practice, and policy and procedures.

The Licensing Services team are a busy service who are part of the wider regulatory services comprised of Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Bereavement Services. The team issue thousands of licences every year to pubs, clubs, taxis, scrap metal merchants, wedding venues and gambling establishments. The work is complex but rewarding and requires a keen eye for detail as every document we issue is part of a legal framework. As a Licensing Services Assistant, you will be responsible for processing the applications and checking that the correct evidence documentation is in place as well as verifying identity. When trained, will have your own client base to manage.
The Licensing Services team also process all local land search enquiries as part of our legal administrative duties.
You will form part of a small team who deliver these services which are crucial to the clients they serve. If you like being busy, enjoy working with the public and are comfortable working across a multi discipline service, then this could the role for you.
There will be lots of opportunities for training both external and internal and although experience would be useful, its not essential as full training is provided.

You will need to be able to translate your knowledge, current legislative and policy guidance into engaging, interactive training sessions for workers in adult social care teams.We are looking for an individual who is suitably experienced and qualified to develop and deliver training in subjects such as:<ul>

Assistant Support Worker - Seabrook Court We currently have a part time (30 hours) and full time (37.5 hours) Assistant Support Worker position at our supported housing scheme, Seabrook Court, in Aylesbury.Seabrook Court is a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, offering 20 individual flats with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom for comfortable and private living. We provide 24-hour care, working various shifts to ensure continuous support.What You will Do:As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:<ul>
<li>Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way</li>
<li>Aid with the daily administration of medication</li>
<li>Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting</li>
<li>Organise trips to local amenities</li>
<li>Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals</li>
<li>Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing</li>
</ul>As an Assistant Support Worker you will;<ul>
