In this role you will ensure money is collected at each facility, recorded and reported in accordance with Wirral Council's financial procedures. You will further provide consistent and structured admin support for the admin officers and operational teams across the service.
Some key tasks required are;
' To undertake cash income collection and cash security at all facilities and ensure that the income collection and recording systems at each facility are strictly adhered to within agreed financial guidelines.
' To assist in the recovery of debt and cancelled 'block booking' fees.
' To receive, check and record delivery of goods, supplies etc. and deal with invoices, accounts etc.
' To deal with routine correspondence and enquiries across the service and resolve as appropriate interpreting situations and providing solutions to problems.
Your experience should include;
' Cash handling and management
' Working to financial processes
' Planning workloads to meet service needs
' Working in partnership with a range of customers, partners and stakeholders
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
