The role is an opportunity for a confident, conscientious, self-motivated individual who can demonstrate an aptitude for working on their own initiative, within a team, under pressure and to strict deadlines.
The post involves undertaking Fixed Asset reconciliations, transactional processing and supporting the Accountant and Senior Accountant for Capital.
Applicants should have at least five GCSEs at grade C and above including Maths and English. Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they are computer literate, using Microsoft Office software, predominantly Excel.
In order to qualify for appointment at the higher end of the salary grading, applicants will need to be undertaking an accountancy qualification, have experience of working within a financial environment and undertaking data reconciliations between financial systems.
The role is a development role and provides the opportunity for continued learning through a supported qualification programme and on the job training working within a rapidly changing and complex service area.
