Our school is highly unusual in that it features a one-form-entry mainstream nursery and primary school and six Special Educational Needs Unit classes for approximately 60 children with SEN. We are one of the DfE and Sefton Council’s registered provisions for children with speech and language difficulty, autistic spectrum condition and children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are proud of the very inclusive nature of our school.

The Grange was judged to be good or outstanding in all areas in its last Ofsted inspection in January 2018. Highly supportive and friendly staff and governors, children who have a great enthusiasm for learning and excellent resources combine to make The Grange a great place to develop your career.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Discolsure and Barring Service (DBS).

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
