Buckinghamshire County Council and Wycombe District Council are jointly recruiting to an exciting range of new legal roles. On 01 November 2018, it was announced by the government that the five councils in Buckinghamshire will become a single unitary authority in April 2020.

About the role

Litigation Lawyers (£42,346 - £48,616) (WDC employed, flexible location)

We are seeking a lawyer with general civil and criminal litigation experience to take on a varied and interesting caseload spanning numerous Council functions. Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous: defending civil cases including personal injury such as slips and trips and highway matters, knowledge of the civil procedure rules, prosecutions including advocacy in the Magistrates Court or other tribunal including planning enforcement, injunction proceedings and judicial review.
