Project Support Officer SO1

Project Support Officer (36 Hours, Full Time) Grade S01 (£28,356- £30,108) subject to review

Waltham Forest is growing faster than any other borough in London and has recently been announced as the London Borough of Culture 2019. The Borough aims to build 12,000 new homes by 2020, creating great places to live and supporting the vibrant local economy. One of the main ways the Council aims to meet this target is through the Council’s new wholly owned development company.

With the increasing pressure to deliver a large number of good quality new homes, the Housing Development Team is growing fast. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help coordinate the ambitious work of the Housing Development Team, in particular, the Council’s new wholly owned housing company Sixty Bricks Ltd. You will provide fundamental project support to the team’s project managers and business administration support to the wider Development Team and Sixty Bricks Ltd. We are looking for a candidate who has a good understanding of Microsoft Office systems and, ideally, is confident in using social media. We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player with a flexible and adaptable approach, working with minimum supervision.
