Thurrock Councils' Child Protection and Looked After Children Team in Children's Services are looking to recruit a full-time Business Support Assistant.

The role includes supporting the Local Area Designated Officer (LADO) and Safeguarding Strategic Leader as well as ensuring that the Independent Reviewing Officers meeting processes run smoothly and efficiently.

The post holder will also be involved in distributing reports and minutes in a secure manner and in line with statutory requirements, updating spreadsheets, and undertaking some general administration duties.

As a Business Support Assistant you will have an understanding of Children's Social Care processes, be organised with an eye for detail and a team player.

In return, you will receiving ongoing support, training and development opportunities within this busy but rewarding service.
