The role  

The Woodville are looking to build their casual Duty Management team for the Autumn season. The role sits within a regular team of contracted Woodville staff who also Duty Manage the venue during daytimes and evenings to support events and shows. 

The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring that all visitors are given the best possible experience during their time at the venue. The role requires a calm and capable individual to ensure the building is operating safely at all times, ensuring patron safety and taking control of emergency situations as necessary. We are looking for an individual with a commitment to a high standard of customer care and a mature approach to managing the onsite team of Volunteers and FOH in order to deliver events. 

Essential qualifications/experience 

  • Excellent Customer Care experience
  • Proven ability to make decisions
  • Proven ability to develop improve and promote change
  • Creative thinking
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Holder of Personal License (or ability to get one)
  • Holder or valid first aid certificate (or ability to get one)

Desirable qualifications/experience

  • Knowledge of the arts and entertainment industry
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
  • IT knowledge
  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated experience within a customer service environment

Occupational Health also works with us to resolve any issues in the workplace and also to ensure that well-being at work is maintained.
