Wyre Council is a forward thinking, collaborative, digital first organisation and an exciting opportunity has arisen within the ICT and Digital service area for a skilled, passionate, highly motivated and professional individual.
We are looking for a Web/Digital officer to join our dedicated and friendly Marketing and Communications team to cover a maternity leave.
You will play a key role in the project team tasked with setting up a new website for the council, reviewing and creating content and online forms. You will work with departments across the authority to achieve online access to services for customers and ensure the website utilises new opportunities for improved content and functionality. You will also work with the Communications Team and other key officers to further develop the council’s digital marketing activities.
You will have an excellent eye for detail and a flair for writing great content. Based at our Civic Centre in Poulton you will work well as part of a team, whilst also managing your own workload to meet deadlines.
You will be able to provide evidence of writing content for websites, knowledge of HTML and have experience of digital marketing techniques.
