Project Manager

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your learning and career?

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our busy team - you will be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to make a positive difference every day.

Slough is a place which has all the characteristics of a London borough – we have a young and diverse population and great ambitions for the future - there is a lot of investment and regeneration coming into the town.

We need someone to help us plan for the future and support our work as a council and with key partners to make this happen.

You will provide project management of priority projects to support delivery of the Five Year Plan and Transformation programme as part of our drive to continually improve services and value for money for local residents.

You will have proven experience of managing complex projects across business functions, as well as having extensive experience in a strategic programme management role within local government. You will possess a wide range of interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate complex messages in a succinct way to a range of audiences.

You will not be deskbound in this role and will rise to the opportunity to build relationships within the organisation at all levels.

If you can commit to this, we can support you to develop your current skills in a fast-moving corporate environment and provide you with opportunities to gain experience in a range of areas.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Dean Tyler, Service Lead – Strategy and Performance on 01753 875847.

Closing date for applications: Thursday 19th September 2019 at 5.00 pm

Interviews will be held on week commencing Monday 30th September 2019.
