English Martyrs Catholic Primary is a larger than average primary school with a nursery attached and currently has 455 pupils on roll.

Administrative Assistant required to start as soon as possible

The Governors are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to work in our very busy school office.  The individual will be enthusiastic and totally committed to maintaining the high standards already established within the school.  The nature of the role requires a very well organised individual who can work well under pressure and is able to manage their workload effectively.  The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors to school and will therefore be required to maintain the calm and positive office environment.

The successful candidate will be:

  • committed to maintaining the high standards of our school
  • confident in dealing with visitors and able to address issues calmly, politely and postively
  • able to manage their workload effectively in a very busy office

Due to the nature of work this post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding liegislation and appointment will only be confirmed is a satisfactory Enghanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
