The Business Systems Team is part of the Adults' and Health directorate at Barnet Council. Our team's main role to support and maintain the various IT systems used across Adults' & Communities; providing training, helpdesk support, configuring and maintaining these. The main systems currently used are: Mosaic (case management), Wisdom (legacy document management) and Call Confirm (homecare visit monitoring).
Whilst our team is small, we are crucial to supporting and meeting business requirements and delivery of the Business Plan. We are also involved with business continuity, information governance and act as a point of contact between our Delivery Unit and IT colleagues.
You will be expected to lead and deliver systems training to staff; developing course content, supporting materials and maintaining system guidance documentation. There will also be opportunities for you to use your knowledge of our systems to provide business analyst expertise, helping to translate business requirements into workable business models.
You will also be expected to lead on system support. Line managing two system support and training officers you will help to further develop their skills as well as co-ordinating our overall our support and training offer.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead and deliver systems training to staff. This role requires experience of providing training to individuals and groups of staff, ideally within an IT context.
Knowledge of the Mosaic or Framework-I social care database is essential, as is awareness of current social care policies and processes.
You will have experience of developing system guidance and documenting business process and will be a proactive, confident team player with excellent communication and strong IT skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, be able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
