Rowan Park Teaching School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3-19 years. The school has three sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years and The Rowan Tree (opened in September 2019), which caters for Reception and Year 1 pupils. Pupils at Rowan High School and The Rowan Tree all have a diagnosis of autism.
Rowan High School opened in September 2015 and, as the School continues to grow and develop, the Governors wish to appoint a Teacher of Art & Design Technology. We are looking for a Teacher who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about improving outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will be skilled in delivering the Art & Design Technology secondary curriculum, demonstrate commitment and be a highly effective classroom practitioner.

The interview process will take place over two stages. The first stage will be the requirement to undertake a lesson observation. If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited back for interview.
