Rowan Park School is an outstanding Special School, which has maintained “Outstanding” Status for the past four inspections. In May 2015, the School was awarded Teaching School status. The School has a main site which caters for children and young people aged 3 to 19 years with severe/complex learning difficulties and currently has 138 pupils on roll. It also has additional sites - Rowan High School, which caters for young people aged 11 - 19 years and The Rowan Tree (opened in September 2019), which caters for Reception and Year 1 pupils. Pupils at Rowan High School and The Rowan Tree all have a diagnosis of autism.
Rowan High School opened in September 2015 and, as the School continues to grow and develop, the Governors wish to appoint an additional Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for working with children and young people with disabilities and are committed to ensuring everyone achieves success in their academic, social and independent skills.
32.50 hours per week – Monday and Wednesday – 8.45 a.m. to 16.30 p.m., Tuesday – 8.45 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. and Thursday and Friday – 8.45 a.m. to 15.30 p.m.
