Salary range between £14,081.60 - £17,076.80 p.a. dependent on age - 40 hours per week
Broxbourne Council is offering opportunities for qualified or unqualified Lifeguards to join the teams at The Laura Trott Leisure Centre, Cheshunt and The John Warner Sports Centre, Hoddesdon. If you wish to apply for this role but are unqualified, we are offering the opportunity for good swimmers with the right attitude to apply for this role and have their training fully paid for. Successful applicants will be invited to join us at The Laura Trott Leisure Centre between Monday 28 October – Sunday 3 November 2019 to undertake the National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ).
As a Lifeguard, the role is varied and includes setting up and breaking down sports equipment and providing assistance and help to members of the public visiting the centre. Excellent customer service skills are essential for this post. The successful applicants will also be responsible for ensuring that the centre is kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times.

Successful candidates will work on a shift pattern which includes evenings and weekends and will have the opportunity to work at both leisure centres.
