Technology Enabled Care Co-ordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to join the Technology Enabled Care team in the role of Technology Enabled Care Co-ordinator; taking responsibility for increasing the uptake of Technology Enabled Care in North Somerset.  The role of the Co-ordinator is to promote use of Technology Enabled Care within assessment and provision of Adult Social Services: to enhance independence and prevent reliance on care. The focus of the role will be working with operational teams to increase understanding and use of Technology Enabled Care. However, you will also interface with the Councils more strategic Technology Enabled Care projects and make a valuable contribution to these.

We are looking for a Co-ordinator who can evaluate current systems and processes, as well as highlighting new ways of working with Technology and implement these ideas within local services. The role will work with a wide variety of external partners and teams within the Council including residents, Adults Support and Safeguarding, Strategy and Policy Development, Commissioning, housing, as well as the Council's partners. You will undertake work, which will involve research, analysis, planning, training and developing high quality communications that will inspire effective use of Technology Enabled Care. You will monitor the results to ensure compliance with the project milestones and statutory responsibilities.

It is essential you have experience of working in Adult Social Services with Technology Enabled Care and delivering service development work. You will have an ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders and negotiate to secure value for money. An ability to manage and organise your own workload, to collect and collate evidence and present findings as the subject expert are both key to this role.

As a team we have several projects currently running in community, residential and extra care settings and you will be required to pick up, work on these and take forward their development.

Finally, as this is a development role, it is exciting but also can be pressure, so you should be someone who will thrive in this environment.

This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

For an informal discussion, please contact Laura Cresser on 01934 427603.
