We are recruiting a Finance Manager - Financial Systems to join our Corporate Finance team, for a period of 7 months. The Council has very recently implemented the new SAP S/4 HANA system and this role will be pivotal to ensuring system functionality is maximised as a result of this investment.
The Finance team is hard-working, knowledgeable and collaborative, giving you the opportunity to work in a broad and varied role. As our Finance Manager- Financial Systems, you will be responsible for the Master Data team and day to day maintenance of the SAP S/4 HANA system. You will also play an important role in the production of the year end accounts, as well as leading on improvements to the SAP system in order to maximise functionality for the Finance Department and Council as a whole.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Control team within Corporate Finance. You will lead a team of 4, responsible for the Master data function, Purchasing cards, Imprest Cash Accounts, bank reconciliation's and maintenance of the SAP S/4 HANA system.
You will have significant knowledge and experience of working with SAP, preferably SAP S/4 HANA. As a confident communicator, you will foster great working relationships with those you work with. Importantly, you will thrive under pressure and enjoy working to tight deadlines.
