We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead, manage and successfully deliver a step change in digital services within Wirral. You will have previously delivered IT programmes to a defined strategy to achieve corporate priorities and goals.  You will also have experience of strategically coordinating projects with complex interdependencies in a local government or public sector setting.  The successful candidate will have a good understanding of programme management methodology and portfolio management arrangements to achieve effective governance and control.


This is an opportunity to lead digital change in Wirral and manage the implementation of our Digital Wirral Strategy, working with the senior team to re-shape service delivery around digital access to achieve the best customer service for Wirral residents.  You will be a skilled communicator with significant experience of managing a broad range of stakeholders with different expectations and needs.


The post holder will be a highly motivated individual, with evidence of continuous professional development, energy and enthusiasm.  Furthermore they will be skilled in motivating staff and leading people to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
