We are looking to recruit a Senior Performance Analyst to work within the Council’s Children’s Services Social Care/Early Help/SEND Performance Team. This role is for a fixed- term until 31st July 2020.
As a Senior Performance Analyst you will support the Service to deliver outstanding performance through the effective use of data and business intelligence. You will provide and maintain regular performance management information to all levels of management, and provide quality analysis and advice to enable the Service to understand performance and the reasons for poor performance. You will complete a number of statutory returns and provide OFSTED with any data they require during inspection. You can find your greatness by working with people across the Service to inform improvements that ensure better outcomes for children, young people and families.
The successful candidate is required to have demonstrable experience of providing data analysis leading to service improvement, as well as experience of producing reports and information from reporting software (preferably Business Objects). Advanced Excel skills and experience of presenting complex information to non-technical audiences are essential for this role.
The role requires either a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject e.g. Maths, or preferably demonstrable equivalent experience. It is essential that the post holder has good report writing and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. They must have an understanding of how to make the best use of data and information to make informed decisions, seek improvement opportunities and ways to resolve problems.
