                              (Career Grade to £45,874 - £51,341 pro rata)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage the transaction side of the Council’s finance function whilst managing and developing financial systems to ensure maximum benefit for service users.  Providing comprehensive professional accountancy and general financial advisory services to budget holders you will ensure all financial matters are addressed satisfactorily.

The successful candidate will require a CIPFA Accounting qualification or equivalent with excellent spreadsheet skills and proven extensive experience in a finance role, preferably as an Accountant within a Local Authority or similar organisation delivering finance services.
