As Senior Technical support officer you will be joining the Property and Capital Projects team who operate within the Business Support Division. We champion innovation and embrace transformation whilst delivering projects within the built environment. Leading on exciting, high profile projects to regenerate Medway and put it on the map as one of the best places to live, work, learn in and visit in the South East. Our portfolio consists of Housing, Education, Corporate, Heritage. Works may include, condition programme, new build, extensions, refurbishment, and demolition.
We need someone who will support our team of Project Mangers including producing management reports, performance monitoring and recording of project and resource statistics compilation. Management of our Atrium/Integra Finance Management Systems. The Management of the Service areas accounts and budget monitoring, fee incomes and predictions/forecasting and monitoring reports. Paying and Raising invoices. In addition to supporting the project managers in Minute taking, team development, agenda setting as well as coordinating and managing apprenticeship trainees and technical support staff.
You will demonstrate a successful track record of delivery with the relevant professional experience. Just as important will be your values, attitude and approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a political environment, with client/colleagues, JV partners and building industry stakeholders, helping projects to be delivered on time and on budget.
You will be able to demonstrate your proficiency in accounting and managing budgets as well as showing the requisite computer proficiency for the role.
- An appropriate accounting or Business degree or related qualification or to be working towards such a qualification
- Demonstrable experience of managing budgets and reporting on delivery of service outcomes
