Health and Wellbeing Administration Officer

Horsham District Council are looking for a Wellbeing Administration Officer to join our established Health and Wellbeing Team to support the delivery of the Wellbeing Hub across the Horsham District. The Wellbeing Service is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health within our local communities. The service provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support.

As Wellbeing Administration Officer you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Wellbeing Team and associated projects as well as acting as the first point of contact to the hub from individuals and agencies. The post holder will also be responsible for organising appointments, making and receiving referrals and updating the website and social media pages with all relevant health and wellbeing information.

To succeed as Wellbeing Administration Officer you will be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills and experience of providing administration support in an office environment. You will be able to manage conflicting priorities, have good interpersonal and communication skills, be reliable and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

This post requires some flexibility, as occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
