Cover Supervisor

Crosby High School (a 145 place 11-16 school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties/complex learning difficulties) is seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed higher level teaching assistant to be our lead cover support staff member. We are looking for an HLTA with a wide range of skills and knowledge in the area of teaching and learning who can deliver lessons in a wide a range of subjects supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs.

 

 We are looking for someone with a proven record of academic support for children as well as an ability to offer quality teaching, care and support. Experience of teaching and / or working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable. In addition and working alongside the Assistant Head Teacher, will be the organisation and management of the whole school daily cover and duty rotas. Strong communication and IT skills are required for this post.
