And now we want you to join our lifesaving team. We are looking for a Cord Collection Support Officer to join our Cord Blood Programme.
Title: Cord Collection Support Officer
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: NTU Clifton Campus, South Nottingham
The Cord Blood Programme collects cord blood, which is vital in the fight against blood cancers, at hospitals in London, Leicester and Manchester. Once it has been collected, it is taken to the Anthony Nolan Cell Therapy Centre where it is processed and stored for use in national, and international, hospitals.
As a Cord Collection Support Officer, you will provide the Collection Sites and the Cell Therapy Centre (CTC) with business and administrative support, as directed by the Clinical Midwife Advisor Strategy & Governance, to enable the Cord Blood Collection Programme to deliver its strategy and operational requirements.
You will contribute to the Cord Blood Programme’s service improvement and delivery and ensure the communication of information between the Cell Therapy Centre and the collection sites is inclusive, timely, relevant, and accurate.
