In Northampton, we have expanded our Housing Advice and Options Service and we are transforming the way in which we tackle homelessness.
We are now seeking to appoint a Temporary Accommodation Income Officer who has the skills, qualities and experience required to provide an efficient, customer-focused income recovery service that maximises the collection of rent and service charges from homeless households living in temporary accommodation.
To meet the requirements of this key role, you will be very well organised, you will have excellent communication skills and you will be an adept problem solver. You will also have a proven track record of taking appropriate and timely action to address the reasons for non-payment and late payment.
Outcome focused and with a passion for effective multi-agency working, you will have considerable experience of helping people to maximise their income, minimise their indebtedness and sustain their tenancies.
