Salary Range: £18,795 progressing to £20,344 pa
Hours: 37 hrs p/w
Contract: Fixed Term or Secondment (County Hall) or Permanent ( Welwyn) available

Family Safeguarding is a new and innovative way of working in the child protection field. Multi-disciplinary Family Safeguarding Teams bring together children’s social workers, mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse specialists to take a whole family approach and improve information sharing, efficiency and outcomes for children, young people and their families.
We are looking for two Support Officers within our Business Delivery Team East. These roles provide administrative support to the front line teams in obtaining information from other agencies to enable Social Work staff to undertake accurate assessments.
Providing administrative support to the frontline Social Workers, you will be working in a rewarding and fast paced environment, undertaking a variety of administrative tasks like completing Statutory Checks, typing letters, diary management, minute taking and taking telephone calls. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst retaining high accuracy levels is essential.
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional and organised individuals who are able to provide the high level of administrative support that is required to be successful in these roles. You may already have relevant office experience, or you may be someone who can evidence that you are dedicated to learning new skills from experienced colleagues. The passion to want to work hard and do the job to the best of your ability is what we are looking for in all of our applicants.
