Teaching Assistant Level 2

The Governors of St Elizabeth’s are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work for 30 hours per week (term time) in our KS2 department, supporting the children and class teacher with general duties within the class. The post will be in a Y6 class, so a knowledge of the Y6 curriculum and assessment procedures would be advantageous, as would experience of working within this year group.  

We are looking for people who are:-

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
• Passionate about working with children to help develop their potential
• Have experience of working with Y6 children in school and have an excellent knowledge of the  curriculum
• Committed to the whole school community and be prepared to be actively involved in the  Catholic life of the school
• Committed to the safeguarding of children
