Leighton Buzzard Centre is more than a place where you can find books, it is a valuable resource for the community and is also home to Leighton Buzzard Theatre.   


We are looking for enthusiastic people to actively promote the Library Theatre and to provide a first-class service to our customers. You will be a key frontline member of staff dealing with both face to face and telephone enquiries in order to achieve the optimum sales for the Theatre box office and for the Theatre bar. You will carry out a range of administrative and financial services relating directly to the operation of the box office and the bar. You will also be expected to carry out Front of House duties and act as a Steward in the Theatre auditorium during performances.


You will help to deliver a vibrant and high-quality theatre venue engaging with new and existing customers and helping to increase theatre usage.


Experience of working with the public in front line customer service, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, IT skills (GNVQ level 2 or equivalent) and a demonstrated genuine level of interest and enthusiasm for theatre and the arts are advantageous but more importantly you will bring with you enthusiasm, great communication skills and excellent customer service.
