Accountancy Manager

Hyndburn is a great place to work, with its historic market towns, stunning landscapes and a commitment to an organisational culture where people can thrive.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountancy Manager. Together with the Head of Accountancy, for whom you may be required to deputise, you will deliver an effective and professional accountancy service.

You will be a qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant and have practical experience in budget preparation, regular monitoring and maintaining the integrity of cash and accounting controls and completing statutory final accounts to exacting timescales and standards.

You must be able to establish positive relationships with people at all levels and have experience of managing, motivating and leading a team to ensure the delivery of a high performing service.

Reduced hours would be considered for the appropriate candidate, sufficient with the exigencies of the service.

We offer a fantastic benefits package, including flexible working, subsidised car loan or lease, free parking, access to the local government pension scheme, health and wellbeing support, generous leave entitlement and payment of your professional membership fees.

If you are as passionate about delivering results as we are, and if you want to join a team that is making a real difference, we want to hear from you!

The job description and person specification are on the website: along with information on how to apply by submitting your CV and a covering letter in support of your application.

It is expected that the interviews will be held on the 15th or 22nd November 2019.

Closing date: 10th November 2019
