Are you a skilled business intelligence leader who can champion innovative practice in performance management? Do have a passion for finding new and interesting ways of presenting insights? Do you want to be part of our journey to become a leading council? If so we want to hear from you!

We are establishing a new Business Intelligence team and we're looking for exceptional, forward-thinking candidates to help us become a cutting-edge data driven organisation. We see this as integral to supporting significant transformation across the council – and with partners - while reducing costs, increasing efficiency and ensuring services meet the needs of residents and service users.

At Surrey, our vision is to help create better lives, a better place and a county where no-one is left behind.

To deliver the vision we are committed to changing and radically improving the council's culture, approach and performance, putting residents' current and future needs first.

About the team

The Business Intelligence team's mission is to work in partnership with others to transform the way information, analysis and insight is provided to the council to enable more effective decision-making, helping to achieve the ambitions set out in the Organisation Strategy and the Community Vision for Surrey in 2030. Performance data is a vital part of running a high performing organisation and we strive for excellence in performance management and champion open data.
