Principal Social Worker - Quality Assurance

Birmingham Children’s Trust has great ambitions for our children and families. We are looking for a strong professional who can role model and champion best social work practice across all operational areas of the service, contributing to the continuous improvement of evidence-based practice.

As a Principal Social Worker you will become part of the newly formed Practice Hub and you will work closely with, front line staff and senior managers across the organisation to deliver the vision of the Trust.

Within this post you will be the Principal Social Worker for a dedicated area and will be the lead for a number of specialist areas and projects.

A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with the Health Care Profession Council are required a long with significant experience within frontline practice

You will be under the Assistant Directorate for Practice Improvement and Development and would report to the Head of Service for Practice Standards and Quality Assurance.

This directorate includes Practice Evaluation, Policy and Procedures, the Principal Social Worker team, the Academy and Performance and Intelligence.
