Trainee Registrar

Salary: £17,828 - £19,275 per annum rising to £19,275 - £21,707 after successful completion of training

Fixed Term Contract until April 2020 with a possibility of extention.

37 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Thurrock Council as a trainee Deputy Registrar of Births Deaths and Marriages.

This role will be varied and include assisting in reception, attending marriage ceremonies in Thurrock Register Office and Approved Premises throughout the District, to update the Marriage Register and to produce handwritten marriage certificates. At the end of your training, you will have the skills and ability to be able to accurately register Births and Deaths.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, keen to train and able to record information accurately and neatly.
