Assistant Team Manager PAFSS

The Parenting and Family Support Service is established within Doncaster Children’s Services Trust and is part of Doncaster’s Early Help Offer, the two key concepts that underpin Early Help are: 

Whole family Working and a Multi-agency integrated working. 

We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Team Manager who has the experience, confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed in this parenting and family support leadership and management role. 

You will need to have the ability and experience of working directly and intensively with each individual member of the family who will have some complex needs or complicating factors that are impacting on family life and be able to provide interventions that are evidenced based to improve outcomes for children and families.  

We are looking for a highly motivated practitioner who has the ability to support and motivate a team of family support workers to drive change within the Early Help arena, improve practice through mentoring and modelling excellent practice and experienced in the delivery of evidenced based parenting. 

You will need to be able to drive performance, quality, and standards within the service, be competent recording on an electronic system and have quality reflective supervisory experience. 

We are looking for an exemplar practitioner who can demonstrate leadership and managerial skills to a high standard who has the child at the heart of decision making process to keep our children in Doncaster safe, well & heard which is underpinned by a very good understanding of Safeguarding and Thresholds.
