More Information

Homeless Offenders Officer

The Homelessness Transitions for Offenders (HTO) service is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and work with people who have an offending history, including both offenders in custody and in the community, who disclose they are of no Fixed Abode or that they will be street homeless upon release. The primary role of the service is to support clients in accessing accommodation and to address any barriers that prevent them from securing suitable accommodation, thereby reducing the risk of future homelessness and re-offending.

You will be responsible for providing weekly 1:1 support over an extended period to improve independent living skills, health and wellbeing, whilst also supporting the development of education, training and employment opportunities, and reducing social isolation by supporting integration with the local community.

This post is based at our offices in Loughborough but will include travel across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland and to prisons servicing these areas.
